SHANNON RAE, the photographer
My journey with sharing art started during summer breaks from college. Each summer was spent as a camp counselor at a remote wilderness camp in the mountains of New Mexico. While teaching kids coming from all walks of life to camp, backpack and pack burros/llamas, I noticed that an essential connection with nature and source was sorely lacking. This phenomenon has accelerated with both children and adults in today's technologically driven world. Many have completely shut down their connection with nature.
My photography allows me to share with you my deep love of nature and our true source energy, hopefully passing on a ‘spark of awakening’ to encourage others to have a relationship with nature and source. ‘Art with intention’ is my goal. By using my camera to paint with light; my intent is to share with you, the viewer, an exciting way of seeing this wondrous world we live in. Bringing joy and light to your everyday life.
