Please remember that photos uploaded to the galleries and web store will have a compressed lower web resolution than the prints you will receive. Be assured your print will be the highest resolution possible, so you will have a crisp, beautifully colored image to hang and enjoy.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINT DETAILS

All fine art photographic prints are printed in my studio on a professional metallic luster photo paper with archival Epson Ultra Chrome inks. This combination ensures that color prints will safely last well over 100 years without fading if treated properly. All mats are acid free. Double mats are white on white. Single mats on small 5" x 7" prints are a single layer of white. It is recommended to never place prints in direct sunlight and if possible frame with UV protected glass to ensure generations of enjoyment. Please be aware that high humidity environments will hasten the aging of your photographic print.
All photographic prints are signed and numbered limited editions. Numbers are meticulously tracked in a binder to ensure no repetition of numbers. I do not put the number on the face of the print as some photographers do. They are on the back. Please request if you want me to number on the face. Three series of aprints may be released per size. 4" x 6" prints, mat measures 5" x 7" Series 1: 100 prints released. Series 2: 250 prints released. Series 3: 500 prints released. 8" x 10" prints & 7.75" x 10.75", mat measures 11" x 14" Series 1: 50 prints released. Series 2: 100 prints released. Series 3: 250 prints released. 11" x 15" prints, mat measures 16" x 20" Series 1: 25 prints released. Series 2: 50 prints released. Series 3: 100 prints released. |
The Issue of Copyright
With purchase of photography prints by artist Shannon Rae, Blue Urchin Studio Hawaii; the customer implicitly agrees that purchase only gives the customer the right to frame, hang and enjoy the signed and numbered, limited edition aluminum wall art print or photo print that was purchased. The purchase of the print does not transfer rights to copy or reproduce the print in any way, including home or internet reproduction. Any unauthorized reproduction/scanning/printing/downloading/photographing violates copyright law.
