For many, many years I would drive by the bay and admire all the row boats moored in the ocean. Many jaunty colored boats in shades of blue, red, yellow and green fill the view as you gaze across the water. This ocean scene always brings back childhood memories for me of weekends spent boating on the water with my family. This particular yellow row boat is my favorite because it always made me feel so happy inside with it's bright splash of sunshine yellow.
One morning I was passing by the bay on my way to an art fair. I always carry my camera with me because part of the art of photography is simply being in the right place at the right time. There were puffy clouds floating over the bay reflecting on the ocean. The reflections paired with ripples on the water created amazing textures setting off my favorite boat. As the water lapped around my ankles, I could see that this ocean picture Sunday at the Bay would be a timeless peaceful water image.
